| So it's been since what, October? Since I've written in this? I'm bored though so I might as well... So just an update: Michael never worked out. We dated for almost 2 weeks and we broke up. It was stupid. Right around the time when I broke up with Michael, me and Rima were at City Park and we saw Kitty and Franny there. They said their friend Ted was coming too. I had known who Ted was for a while becuase Kitty used to talk about him a lot, but I had never actually met him. We chilled at Starbucks that night and Ted got my number. He started texting me a lot and hitting on me and told Kitty he liked me. I was being a shallow bitch and still wasn't really over Michael so I was a total asshole to Ted. Eventually, we stopped talking. In Feburary, I got a new boyfriend, Jimmy. Almost same situation where we dated for like 2 weeks and broke up. Whatever. Then a couple weeks ago I was on facebook and Ted started IMing me. I hadn't talked to him in forever and I figured why not. So we talked for a bit and he was telling me how he had completely changed since the last time I saw him. I decided I wanted to see for myself and we planned to hang out that Friday. Friday was fun and we got along really good. Then we made plans for Monday. On Monday he asked me to be his girlfriend and I said yes. We've been dating ever since and it's been about 3 weeks. I really like him, and I couldn't be happier. :) | | |
| A quick word of advice. Don't date guys you don't know. I was set up with my first boyfriend, Bartek. We didn't know each other. The most we ever talked was through text. No surprise, he only wanted to get in my pants. My second boyfriend, Michael, played the same game. He was a little better at it, though. Started randomly talking to me, acted like he actually liked me, broke it off once he knew I wasn't going to sleep with him after a week. I made a promise to myself that the next guy I date, I want to actually have true feelings for him. I will make sure he doesn't just want to use me. | | |
| If you hadn't read the most recent entry before this one, it was bascially about this guy Michael. Long story short: He first talked to my best friend. Started talking to me. Started liking me. Asked me to homecoming dance. Still talked to my best friend in a sexual way. So bascially I remained talking to him. He was super nice and even though he was talking to my best friend like that, he was just joking around. I can trust her, so it didn't worry me. About a couple days ago I was talking to Michael on the phone for about two hours. About three times he asked me if I would go out with him. I didn't really know him that well yet but after his persistant asking I said yes. For the rest of the week at school I would hang out with him and he called me his girlfriend but I still didn't consider him my boyfriend. It wasn't until Friday when I really started to like him. Michael and three of my other friends came over to my house for a bon fire. It's not like anything drastic really happened, but just hanging out with him like that made me realize how sweet he really was. I now officially call him my boyfriend, we are going to the homecoming dance together, and I never stop thinking about him. Throughout the day we will just randomly text each other saying stuff like, "I know you're busy I just wanted to let you know that I loved you." It's really cute. | A couple weeks ago, this guy Michael started talking to my friend. He was hitting on her and saying how he "loved" her. She doesn't like him and she was just sort of creeped out by it. However, they still talk.
A couple days ago, the same Michael started talking to me. He said I was really pretty and he asked me to the homecoming dance. I don't know him very well and since he was talking to my friend first I said no.
I told my friend about this and she just thought it was really funny. She didn't care though.
So I went on talking to Michael and he started being sweeter and sweeter to me. It got to the point that for the past two days he texted me the moment he woke up to tell me good morning. I don't know if he is still talking to my friend, but I don't really know what to do.
Should I keep talking to him and get to know him better? | | |
| Last night my friends Rima, Kate, and I went to this place called "City Park". It's pretty much just an outdoor mall but they have weird shops that nobody really ever goes to. However every Friday night there's a million kids everywhere. People go there a lot becuase you can walk to it from the movies. There's also minigolf close by. So anyway we saw a couple people we knew from school, but most of the kids there are in 8th grade. We were pretty bored so the three of us decided to go talk to random kids. At one point we were just standing there talking when this one kid came up and randomly hugged Kate. Joking around I was like, "Awh I don't get a hug?" and him and his friend hugged me. We started talking and stuff and they were pretty kids. We were just joking around saying we were "soulmates" and going around with our arms around each other. They both had girlfriends which I was happy about because that meant we could all just joke around, but since their girlfriend weren't there, we could also say anything we wanted. It kinda just went on like that for a while until it was about 10:30 and it had been raining for a while so we were getting cold so we decided to go home. We got their numbers and later we were texting them. Yay for new friends. :) School started on Thursday. I guess it's not that bad. Except theres like no hot guys in any of my classes. Some decent ones though, which is better than nothing. | | |
